His military career began on September 13, 1969, when he joined the Nebraska Army National Guard. After returning from Active Duty for training he joined the full time National Guard workforce in June of 1970.
He served in the enlisted ranks rising to the rank of Master Sergeant as a member of the Brigade Supply Office HHD 67th Support BN. He was appointed as a Warrant Officer in October of 1983 as a member of HHD 67th Support BN 67th Brigade.
As a warrant officer he served in several Logistics positions in the United States Property and Fiscal Office, he served as the State Safety Manager, as the Maintenance Manager in the Surface Maintenance Office and as the CW5 Quartermaster Policy Action Officer for the Deputy Chief of Staff for Logistics J4.
1 January 2006 Major General Roger P. Lempke selected Weber as Nebraska’s State Command Chief Warrant Officer.
A Graduate of Norris High School at Firth Nebraska, CW5 Weber received his Bachelors of Arts degree from Doane College in Industrial Management. He is married to Dr. Sandra Sattler Weber.
