COL Bryan Saucerman was born on May 20, 1963 in Brighton, Colorado. He enlisted in Combat Support Company 2-134 Infantry (M) in Crete, Nebraska on August 23, 1982. COL Saucerman received his commission as an Infantry Officer in the Nebraska Army National Guard from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln ROTC program on July 17, 1984.
His assignments within the Nebraska Army National Guard include Anti-Armor Platoon Leader; Rifle Company Executive Officer; Squadron Communications Officer; Battalion S3 Air; Commander, C Company 2-134 Infantry (M) Beatrice, NE; Commander, HHC 2-134 Infantry (M) Lincoln, NE; S3, 1-134 Infantry (M) Omaha, NE; Assistant S3, 209th Regiment (RTI); S1, 209th Regiment (RTI); Commander/Senior TAC, B Company (OCS), 2nd Battalion, 209th Regiment (RTI); Executive Officer, 92nd Troop Command; Commander 41st Corps Support Center (RAO); Chief of Staff Task Force Falcon (Rear), Commander Camp Able Sentry and Commander Base Support Battalion (Provisional) Falcon at Camp Able Sentry in the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia; Deputy Commander 67th Support Group (Area); Deputy Commander STARC; Nebraska National Guard Joint Force Headquarters J1; Nebraska National Guard Joint Force Headquarters J2, COL Saucerman is currently assigned as Commander 209th Training Regiment (RTI) at Camp Ashland, NE.
COL Saucerman is a graduate of various military courses including the Infantry Officer Basic Course, Armor Officer Advanced Course, the Combined Arms and Services Staff School, the Command and General Staff College, the Defense Strategy Course, the Senior Transportation Officers Qualification Course, and the U.S. Army War College. His current branch of assignment is Transportation Corps with a 90A Multifunctional Logistician Primary Skill and retains Infantry as an additional skill.

COL Saucerman graduated from Niobrara, High School in 1981; he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 1988 and a Master of Strategic Studies Degree from the U.S. Army War College in 2004.
COL Saucerman is employed by Kawasaki Motors Manufacturing Corporation and he resides in Lincoln with his wife Elly. |
